Returns and refunds

What is your return policy?

Our standard return policy lasts 30 calendar days from the time you receive your product. If 30 calendar days have gone by since your purchase, we typically cannot offer an exchange or refund unless the product is covered under warranty.

To be eligible for a refund, your item must be returned in its original packaging, in the same condition you received it in.

If the item was received in a damaged or defective state, your product will be covered under our product warranty, and you will be eligible for either an exchange or refund of your choice. Please note that user damage is not covered under Tweetycam's warranty.

To complete your return, we require an email receipt or other proof of purchase. Please email us at support@tweetycam.com.au

Can I return an item if I change my mind?

As soon as your order is on its way, we’ll drop you an email with a shipping confirmation notice and your tracking number. If you change your mind about your purchase, you can return unopened goods to Tweetycam within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. 

Unfortunately, we cannot issue a change-of-mind refund for any products that have been already been opened, unless they are covered under our warranty.

Please note you will need to cover shipping charges on returned goods unless the item(s) are being returned as a result of an error on behalf of Tweetycam.

I received the same item as a gift. Can I return the unopened purchase for a refund?

Absolutely! If you've received a Tweetycam product as a gift and already own one, you're welcome to return the unopened item within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. Just make sure it's in its original packaging, and reach out to us at support@tweetycam.com.au with your order number to get started.

If I am a gift recipient, can I request a refund sent to my account?

Unfortunately, refunds can only be issued back to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. So the refund, if approved, would go back to the purchaser's original payment method, not the gift recipient.

What is your 14-day risk-free trial?

We want every customer to feel confident in their Tweetycam purchase, which is why we offer a 14-day risk-free trial on all our electrical products. If you're not completely happy with your purchase for any reason within that window, you can return it, no questions asked.

To initiate a return under the trial, email us at support@tweetycam.com.au and include your order number.

Are we shipping worldwide?

At the moment, we’re only delivering to Australia and New Zealand.

When am I eligible to return my product within the 14-day risk-free trial?

Your 14-day trial period starts from the date you receive your product. To be eligible:

  • Your return must be initiated within 14 days of receiving your order
  • Items must be returned in new condition and in their original packaging
  • Items returned damaged, in poor condition, or with missing parts may not qualify for a refund

Please note that return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility and are non-refundable. Once your return is received and processed, we'll refund the full amount paid, excluding any express shipping fees selected at checkout.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance when sending your item back to us, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.

When can I expect my refund?

Once we receive your return, we'll inspect it and send you a confirmation email. We'll also let you know whether your refund has been approved. Please allow 5–10 business days for us to review your returned order.

If approved, the refund will be processed and credited to the original payment method within a couple of days.

My product arrived damaged or defective, what do I do?

We're so sorry to hear that! In the rare event your product arrives damaged or defective, rest assured that you're covered under our warranty, and you can choose between a replacement or a full refund.

To get things sorted as quickly as possible, please email us at support@tweetycam.com.au with:

  • A photo of the original packaging your item arrived in
  • A photo of the damaged or defective item(s)
  • Any other images you feel are relevant to your claim

A couple of things to keep in mind:

  • Items must be returned in their original packaging
  • Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility under the 30-day return policy
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items
